Petr Nárožný is a Czech actor, comedian, narrator, presenter, and entertainer. In his childhood, he wanted to become a doctor and participated in amateur theater at a cultural center. After completing eleven years of school, he remotely studied civil engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. There, he was a classmate of his future colleague from the Semafor theater, singer Pavel Bobek. In 1968, he began working as a semi-professional presenter and entertainer at concerts of the band Rangers.

In 1973, he received an engagement at the Semafor theater company, where he performed for eight years in a comedy trio with Luděk Sobota and Miloslav Šimek. His film debut was the role of racer Volejník in the comedy JÁCHYME, HOĎ HO DO STROJE, where he caught attention with his unique choleric expression and facial grimaces. This marked the beginning of his extensive film and television career, in which he appeared in dozens of productions. He often portrays comedic caricatures of strict despots, as well as various doctors, supervisors, and similar roles.

Since 1980, he was a member of the acting ensemble of the Činoherní Klub theater in Prague, located on Ve Smečkách Street. There, he shone in Zuckmayer's play Hejtman z Kopníku, which was broadcast several times by Czech Television. His final performance took place in June 2022.

He lent his voice to several popular animated bedtime stories, the most famous being MACH A ŠEBESTOVÁ and ŽOFKA A SPOL.

Among his personal hobbies is history, particularly the history of Central Europe in the 19th century.
